Class A Sarasota pitcher Schott Carroll of the Cincinnati Reds’ farm system received a 50 games suspension on Tuesday after testing positive for the performance enhancing drug Human Chorionic Gonoadoptropin (HCG). Carroll will begin serving the suspension at the start of the 2009 system.
