Michigan State freshman running back and kick returner Glenn Winston has been indefinitely suspended following his guilty plea to aggravated assault and battery charges on Tuesday. The charges stemmed from an off-campus October fight with Michigan State men’s hockey player A.J. Sturges, who suffered a severe head injury as a result of the altercation.
Freshman football player Mitchell White, who was also involved in the fight, pleaded guilty to an assualt charge last month and is set for sentencing next Monday.
