Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes will be charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession after a traffic stop in which police smelling burning marijuana led to the discovery of marijuana-filled cigars (a.k.a. blunts) in Holmes’ car.
This marks Holmes’ third run-in with police since being drafted as a first-round draft pick out of Ohio State in June 2006. Holmes was arrested and charged with domestic violence in Columbus, Ohio in 2006 and disorderly conduct in Miami, Florida in May 2006.
