New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick has denied Raiders owner Al Davis’ claims that the Patriots tampered with receiver Randy Moss in May 2007 by holding a private workout prior to signing the all-star wide receiver.  Belichick insists that he first talked to Moss after talking to Davis and that no private workout was ever held.

And with that, Dark Side is calling it case closed.  After all, it’s not like we have any reason to doubt the Patriot’s or Bill Belichick’s credibility.
