West Virginia basketball players Joe Mazzulla and Cam Thoroughman have pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness stemming from a July scuffle with police at a Pittsburgh Pirates game. The more serious charges, including a felony for aggravated assault, were dropped.
The arrest for scuffling with Pittsburgh police officers came after the two players were detained for unruly behavior in the stands at Pittsburgh’s PNC Park.
