New York City police say they arrested more than a dozen people for stealing pieces of Yankee Stadium during the 85-year-old ballpark’s final game and a total of 18 people were charged with possessing stolen property.

And while Dark Side doesn’t condone stealing, it seems a little less egregious that New Yorkers would be taking a piece of the old stadium since they’re basically paying for the new one.
